Adjusting evo lcg coilovers

I set my coilovers at a lower height at the moment and was wondering if the 2 aluminum stoppers threaded on the shock body should be adjusted also since the height was changed?

Depends where you have them set at.

I am prob at 3-3.5 inches of lift, should there always be a certain distance between the coil slider and the 2 rings no matter where they are adjusted to?

From my understanding, they should be 3/4"-1" away from the slider to engage the springs correctly.

/\/\/\ correct, you want the secondary spring to engage before the first spring over compresses which could damage it.
