Manual transmission question

I'm replacing my clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, flywheel, fork and pivot ball and noticed the input shaft retainer guide has some wear. Will this affect how the throw out bearing moves under pressure ? Has anyone ever replaced this due to wear? It seems to slide ok.. 20170929_181519.jpg 20170929_181511.jpg 20170929_181505.jpg

My rule of thumb for stuff like that is if you can't catch a fingernail on it, it's good. If it's scored to where you can feel it, that's bad. But if it's just visual, it's OK. With that being said, I've only done a few clutches and only rebuilt a handful of manual transmissions. Definitely not as experienced as others.

Its not gouged where you catch a fingernail more of a smooth indent. I would just replace it but its $225 for that piece of tin, I could probably get a used transmission for that price lol
