JKU Rubicon rock sliders

Took the Jeep out this weekend to test out the new lift and had some rubbing issues. Looks like the rear tires were rubbing on the back of the factory rock sliders. I will be buying some true rock sliders but in the mean time I will shorten up the stock ones. I was thinking to cut 1.250 or 1.50 inches off, what have you all cut off yours or recommend? I should also say I'm running 35 inch tires.

I cut about 2.5 - 3 inches for 37s with a zipcut.

I just cut about 1.25 off with some of the pinch seem. I'm on a 3 inch lift with 35's.

I cut mine just about up to the rear weld at angle of the well and re-capped. On 35's, no lift and clears pretty good.
