Thinking of 40s.

Running STT Pro 37s now with PR60s (5.38) and 3.5" lift on a 3.6 six speed JKU. I have 4.5" BS wheels. Everything works very well together and I'm pretty pleased. BUT...

Tossing around jumping up to STT Pro 40s. We do a lot of highway driving to and from the trails. Obviously I'll get a bit lower RPM- that can be good. But I'll sacrifice some flex and add some weight to an already fat four door. How much trimming will I need. I saw Eddie's write up and seems like a lot to do.

Is it worth the jump? I know Eddie likes his, but I'm far away from an LS swap and DTD. Thoughts?

With just 3.5" of lift, you need to do a TON of trimming to clear 40's. It's no big deal to me but I'd be lying if I said it was for everyone. Unless you're dying to run 40's, I personally would stick with 37's as they really are the perfect size for a JK.
