Mine are about a year old, and nothing like that has happened, so far. I expect they'll warranty that.

Is the re-seller JW?
I wouldn't be surprised if it was a Chinese company selling knock offs labeled as JW's.
Happens all day long on Amazon.

Mine are just the evo j series, but no issues in 6 or 8 months so far.

I went with truck lights and haven't had issues with them, my buddy has JW's and they cracked but they warranty them out, i wouldn't buy anything like that off of amazon, and exspecially because a-lot of there stuff is knock off and that why they are so cheap and have became so successful.

I also think JW Speaker won't warranty their products unless you purchased it from an authorized dealer, which doesn't include Amazon.

Yup, I confirmed in the past with JW that nobody on amazon is an authorized dealer for JW. Too many knock-offs. I had a JW tail light quit working, and it was warrantied through 4wheel parts. They sent me a brand new set. Glad I kept the stockers so I could run them for the 2 weeks.
