Lockers and traction control in a non-Rubicon

I have a dirt road that I travel somewhat frequently, it's long and straight and if I catch it just right after a storm, the mud can make things very slippery. I put it in 4H and get through just fine, but the traction control is decidedly unhappy about it especially if I leave it in 2H.

If I had an ARB in the rear that I could potentially lock at any time, would that change the way the traction control behaves? Would that make it less intrusive since the tires would be working at the same speed? I imagine the answer is yes, but I wonder if someone has experience.
