Hey Jeepers,

My 2012 JKU Rubicon over heats when I place any load on the engine:
- driving up freeway hills
- towing
- off roading in 4 low
- etc.

I have heard that these early model 2012 engines had this problem and I would like to know how others are fixing it?

We had a similar problem until we got the cylinder head replaced. A lot of the early 2012's had problems with both.

What are you signs of it overheating? Is it just your temp gauge or other issues?

Wayalife,

I talked to you about this on the trail. Thanks for replying. I have replaced the left cylinder heads so far, and no change. Problem still exists, what do you recommend?

I do a ride along with the jeep dealership tech tomorrow to replicate the problem.
