Body panel gap with aftermarket front inner fenders

What do you guys do to cover/fill the gap when you get aftermarket fenders? I see Ace has a filler plate but I’m pretty sure they won’t work with my inner fenders and only theirs. Heard of people filling with foam and painting. Anyone have any experience or ideas on this? I see a lot of mud unfortunately and it works it’s way up into the front door sills. Thanks in advance.
