2013 JKU Heater core flush-thoughts...

I've been using white vinegar recently to clean harsh water deposits off metal faucets, drains etc in the house -

Has anyone yet used a vinegar heater core only flush? .....signed seeking heat!

I haven't used vinegar but I have used the Prestone flush. You've got to be really careful not to put too much water pressure on the heater core when flushing or you could blow it out and have to pull the entire dash to replace it. Flushing has helped with the heat but I'm thinking about using a pond water pump and letting it slowly pump the flush solution through for a day or two. Flushing is pretty much a yearly maintenance item on my 2007. Good luck.
