DIY jack and stands

For all you DIY guys out there without awesome commercial lift systems, what do you prefer to use to work on your suspension? The floor jack and jack stands are now to short for the 4.5" lift and 38s. inputs?

My dad bought these bad ass jack stands that go up by themselves. You pull on the lever like youre going to lower a regular one.. Pretty cool!

If you don't have a commercial lift, a 5 ton floor jack and 10 ton jack stands should be more than adequate

this is what I was using, but do they make them tall enough?

The larger weight capacity jacks and stands will be longer. I doubt you are using the ones mentioned. They are for lifting dump trucks and the like.

Alright, do local stores like autozone sell these larger weight capacity jacks?

My local Napa auto parts store had those 10 ton jack stands available

Used 12 ton jack stands from harbor freight. Worked awesome
