New coils or shocks for smoother ride?

My 2010 JKU Mountain has stock coils and shocks. My wife hates how rough it rides. I’m just wondering which change would make for a smoother, less jarring ride...changing the shocks or the coils? Recommendations for type of either?

Both. Try Evo leveling kit and rancho RS9000 shocks.

I would start with shocks. If you’ve never changed them they are probably shot. Try the Rancho 7000’s.

Not trying to hijack the thread but how many miles do you think shocks should last?

Depends on a lot of things. If they are leaking fluid or don’t spring back when you take them off they are probably shot.

As mentioned above, try just the shocks. Rancho seems like a good choice.

Adjustable shocks can do wonders, I just put a set of Rancho RS9000XL on my JKU and they are great.
