Dynatrac Drag link sleeve too long?

I finally completed my lift. With it I did my first ever drag link flip. Used a Crown RH drive drag link with a syngery bushing.

I picked up a Dynatrac drag link sleeve from a guy on another forum. Everything seem to go together well, but I am trying to Center my steering wheel. There’s no adjustment left and I’m still a good 15 degrees or so from Center.

Anyone know what I did wrong?

Disconnect the drag link from either end and make the whole assembly shorter so that more of the upper end threads are used up. You have remaining threads left on the upper end in your picture. Then reconnect it and try again.

When I was screwing it in, it didn’t seem to want to go any farther. I’ll try removing the frame side and see if there is more there.

as mentioned, looks like you've bottomed out on the long end.
ideally there should be about equal threads exposed on both ends

update: i unbolted the drag link and screwed in the side attached the pitman arm so more. some times after a lot of work, you're brain and body don't work quite as well. lol. all is good now.

I ran into a similar problem and didn't realize how much longer the Dynatrac version is. I wound redoing the whole assembly then aligning my steering since it was slightly off anyways. That Dynatrac sleeve sure is beefy
