Okay, I know none of this is new to anyone who's been even remotely interested in the all new JL Wrangler but all this is new to us and so, here are a few shots that Cindy and I took of what ours looks like from the inside.

First up, here are a couple of shots from the driver side front door and looking at the dash.

The next set of shots are from the back seat and looking at the JL Wrangler dash and center stack from different angles.

Close up shot of the JL Wrangler steering wheel and controls.
20180204223223-6be1db1c.jpg

I know it's not for everyone but Cindy and I really like the big bold red JL Wrangler Rubicon dash. Kind of reminds us up a CJ dash.
20180204223226-4915b0f7.jpg

Here are a few shots that we took with our JL Wrangler inside our garage so as it gives everything a more realistic feel. This is a view from the passenger side front door.
20180204223415-33dabe2c.jpg

Here you can see a the center stack and all its controls.

Another shot of the steering wheel.
20180204223451-686c9296.jpg

Here's a few shots of the front dash with the instrument panel and Infotainment screen illuminated.

20180204223512-408df7b0.jpg

Starting to feel like piloting the star ship Enterprise or at the very least, a shuttle craft.

20180204223520-8b0dce51.jpg

20180204223622-dd1f65b9.jpg

Here you can see the redesigned JL Wrangler Hard Top Panels and what I like to call ADT (about damn time) grab handles.
20180204223613-5ee44641.jpg

A view of the same thing but from outside the garage.
20180204223247-28f89efd.jpg

I know Jeep has been doing this for a while now but the RUBICON front seats with their red pop-stitching is new to us - WE LOVE IT!
20180204223427-ed462e6a.jpg

As has been the case for a while now, the JL Wrangler comes with a nice soft center console that's high enough to be used as an arm rest. BIG change since the stupid low and hard plastic console of 2007.
20180204223500-51e05391.jpg

Here's a shot of the cup holders and shifters. Notice the Atari 2600 size key FOB plugged into the cup holder carrier.
20180204223433-058826a3.jpg

Transfer case and automatic shifters.
20180204223436-a0b1d325.jpg

Shot of the rear view mirror, Assist and SOS buttons.
20180204223453-159ac924.jpg

Here's the driver side sun visor complete with garage door opener buttons and a nifty clip for carrying things.
20180204223456-d75cec51.jpg

Here's a shot of the front seats from behind. The MOLLE backing is really cool and of course, so are the rear passenger vents. ADT - about damn time!
20180204223545-ee1e5517.jpg

20180204223550-cfec6c4f.jpg

Here you can see what the new JL Wrangler sound bar looks like with LED cabin light.
20180204223557-735adaa7.jpg

20180204223237-e037bac7.jpg

This is a shot of the JL Wrangler rear seats. For some reason, we thought these now came with a center section that folds down and has cup holders but apparently, ours didn't come with it. No big deal really but it is a reminder of how little we knew about what we were ordering.
20180204223552-cab0ccf3.jpg

Here's a shot of the JL Wrangler front door complete with a functional check strap/limiter and a LONG and very usable map pocket. ADT!!
20180204223603-66758626.jpg

And, here's a shot of the JL Wrangler rear door.
20180204223601-72f26962.jpg

Here's a look inside the spacious JL Wrangler rear cargo area.
20180204223335-40b78448.jpg

Nice to see the HUGE Alpine sub-woofer off the floor and back on the side. Love all the heavy duty strap points too.
20180204223319-5284a40f.jpg

A better shot of the very sweet sounding Alpine sub-woofer.
20180204223322-382a4397.jpg

12V DC power outlet is on the driver side of the JL Wrangler.
20180204223328-9d62a345.jpg

A little easter egg "JL" logo complete with morse code.
20180204223356-82ab3dac.jpg

A look inside the rear cubby underneath the cargo area deck. Just like late model JK's, there are place holders for door hardware.
20180204223347-bf5bd561.jpg

Once again, the scissor jack is located underneath the rear most plastic cover.
20180204223353-c950789e.jpg

Here a couple of shots of the JL Wrangler tailgate.
20180204223302-844d2d27.jpg

As you can see here, it comes "ready" to have a Mopar TrailRail installed and from what we've seen, a Trail Table too.
20180204223307-095ab6ad.jpg

Nice to see a Jeep with a data plate once again.
20180204223311-dac088df.jpg

I hope you enjoyed getting a first look on the inside of JET Li. If there's something you were really hoping to see, please let us know and we'll be sure to grab a shot of it. Otherwise, we'll be sure to post up more photos as soon we can and whenever we come across something new.

Love the new interior. Jeep really stepped it up with the JL that’s for sure. The JL Easter egg is new to me!! I didn’t notice it when I was checking out the ones at the dealership!

Looks really awesome! I have to say I didn’t love the red interior at first but I think it’s a great combo with the black interior and white paint. They really stepped it up with the interior and I think that’s something that will really drive sales moving fwd

Some huge improvements to the inside for sure.

When you say that the fob is "plugged in", do you mean that in the literal sense? Is it recharged there or is it just a holding spot? Can you still plug it in with a key ring and other keys attached to the fob?

I'll be interested to hear if the rear 12-volt can run your ARB without issues.

I think they knocked the interior out of the park on the jlr. It has a cj flat feel but packed with technology. Man really digging the new Jeep. Excited for you guys

LOL!! I have a feeling we'll be finding more easter eggs with time :yup:

That interior looks really nice and well laid out.

The layout really is nicely laid out especially for being on the threshold of being overwhelming

I can totally see how the red wouldn't work with some colors but on a white JL and it's black trim, I think the red really adds to the sharpness. :yup:

New interior looks great! Wonder where the passenger airbag went?

Good question, maybe behind the big red panel? :idontknow:

A shot with rear seats folded down? How do the rear head rests interact with the seat back in front? Is there still a big gap in the floor when they are folded down?

:cheesy: I was being sarcastic about the "plugged in" thing. That's just what it looks and feels like when you put the FOB in its cradle. It'll fit with keys attached but the keys would take a cup holder.

Hoping to test out the 12-volt plug soon to find out.

Thanks! And yes, the interior is super nice - we LOVE it!

I'll be sure to grab a pic of just that and post it up shortly. :yup:

Looks like there may be a bit more rear leg room. Being that we’ve got kids still using car seats, our JKU is limited and the kids get a bit cramped back there. Good to see that may have been addressed.

Well thats NOT Ugly! I’m still working on getting the Wife to buy a JL for her next vehicle... the interior is a huge selling point! Can’t wait to go sit in one with her. The red dash is growing on me.

Really nice looking Jeep you've got there! Congrats! Do you guys have plans to try 35s on the stock suspension or are you skipping that step? I know Jeep says you can do it, but I saw a video of a guy flexing the stock 33s and it didn't look like there would be enough room for anything bigger.

Also, the rear folding arm rest only comes with leather seats unfortunately

You are seriously killing me with all these detailed pic. I want to call my dealer like every 5 minutes.

I'm a little bummed the cloth rear seats dont have the center console fold down. Seems like they could have done it if they wanted.

Maybe you'll point them later, but any oddities or concerns knowing you'll eventually be wheeling Jet Li.

Great detailed pics!

I really like the interior, though I may be afraid to get it dirty when I wheel it. The rear seat passenger air vents are a huge addition!

A few questions. Will the windshield defroster vents blow air across the entire windshield? Are the floor drain plugs in the same general locations under the carpet?

Thank you Eddie and Cindy!

Well, the JL is physically longer by just a bit and it definitely feels a bit roomier in the rear. :yup:

LOL!! If you haven't done so already, sit in one... take it out for a test drive. :thumb:

Ah, missed the part where that was only available with leather. Oh well, not really a big deal, just a bit surprised to not have it.

Regarding tires, we're going straight to 37's. :yup:

This new JL is beautiful. I don’t want to put any more money in my JK now.

:cheesy: I have a feeling there are a lot of guys who are feeling the same way

Much like the JK with an automatic on a 3.6L, there are exposed transmission cooler lines that concern me. Other than that, nothing else has caught my eye as of yet or at least, in terms of a concern. I'll keep looking though.

I'll grab a pic of the defroster vents. It does look like they blow across the entire windshield. I'll also give the drain plugs a look.
