After taking JET Li, our brand new Jeep JL Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited out on dirt for the very first time, he just had to have more! So, this afternoon, Cindy and I agreed to let him go back down the street and have a second helping of fun, flexing out on the rocks. Here are a few pics highlighting some of the fun he had.

JET Li happy to be back on dirt again.

But, it didn't take long before he wanted more. Lucky for him, there are plenty of rocks for him to play on.

JET Li getting a bit ambitious but much to our surprise, was still in total control.

Of course, he said he was just trying to wave at us.

Just like any kid, JET Li was having so much fun, he didn't even feel the cuts and bruises he got on his rocker guard and frame rail.

Truly, these are just the first of many to come.

Great test with the inevitable bump and grind, comes with this way of life. Still looks very natural in his element, from womb to rocks, that’s good parenting👍

First scratch and still have the temp plates on[emoji869] nice!

LOL!! Honestly, I'm kind of surprised that we waited this long

Virgin sliders just took a pounding. It happens.

Just the first of many to come :yup:

I’ve heard it hurts less the next time.

That's what she said

Love it. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, glad you like the pics

Careful with those Rubi Sliders.... they don't offer a whole lot of protection....

LOL!! No, they don't. We definitely need to fix that :yup:

You scratched it already?! [emoji15]

This is why we can’t have nice shit!

All kidding aside, looks awesome!

:cheesy: Thanks

Glad to see I’m not the only person to wheel a Jeep hard on temp plates lol.

Jet looks good with rock rash!

No point in owning a Jeep if you don't take it off road :yup:

Looks fun. Minor kiss on the Rubi rails. [emoji41]

It was a ton of fun. Kinda forgot what wheeling bone stock was like

How was the steering on the rocks?

Granted, these are just stock tires but steering was surprisingly good. :yup:

Nice shots! Looks great!

[emoji23]

Why thank you :)

So how did it compare to Moby when Moby was is stock trim? 2nd How did the steering feel?

In all fairness, Moby was a manual so crawling him was different. That being said, the overall comfort and ride quality is significantly nicer in the JL on rough terrain, even at full street pressure. Way more stable across the board as well. Flex is considerably better as well. The 33" tires on the JL is a big improvement as well and the lower low range is too. So far, steering feels great but then, this is with stock tires.
