Fender delete, or trim the fenders?

My fenders are painted I don’t know if trimming them will chip the paint or not. If so should I just go and do a fender delete for more suspension travel?

Plenty here have trimmed the painted ones and I agree they do look good that way. Not a fan of completely deleting unless you’re rocking 40s but that’s just me.

I just trimmed mine this weekend. It took about an hour with a jig saw and dremel. If I would have taken more time it would have turned out a bit straighter in a few spots, but with the added door trim I can’t really see the areas where I drifted while cutting.

Painted cut fenders can look great, i like mine. I personally hate the way the JKs look without the front fenders, the rear looks good when you cover it up with an outlaw skin of some sort.
