17x7.5 Stock Rim tire options

What tires and sizes are being ran on the 17x7.5 stock rims. I have a 2011 Sport 2dr and love the stock rims. Looking for tire options and ideas on how to go bigger/more aggressive on my new tires.

I wouldn't go wider then a 12.5 on the stock rims.

I would say you can run up to 37" tires on stock wheels. I have seen this done quite a few times. I am running 315-75-17s on stock wheels and they do awesome! Ive aired down to 14 psi on trail and everything was good!

Like Underlanderjk said. 12.5" would be the max. But I think some people have got a bit wider. But im not sure:idontknow:

I've seen guys running 37's and wider than 12.50 on a stock wheel. I personally would not do it.

Yeah, 12.50 is about as wide as I would go and really, it's a good fit that will hold your bead well.

Whats a good spacer thickness to use on stockers and 35's?

I'm running 37" BFG km2's on my stock wheels, air down to 12psi with no problems on the rocks

Just so it's clear to people wondering, it's not the height of the tire, more the width that matters.

1.5" wheel spacers should do the trick.

Thanks for the thread and the info. I was thinking of running nitto trail grapplers 37x12.50 r17 on my stocks.
