Has anybody ever had this happen before? I got out of my Jeep yesterday and smelled hot oil. After popping the hood it looked like about half a quart squirted all over my engine. I saw a white gasket from the Napa (?) filter hanging out of the oil filter housing which also looked about a turn or two out- replaced that and also the oil. So far, no more oil spray which is a relief.
