The time has come to get started on changing my stock 2 door Rubicon into a beast.
Here are my plans, please comment to make sure I'm on the right track. Unfortunately we are a little limited as to choice of parts etc here in South Africa, so much research has to go into everything to try and get things right.
1) Front bumper replacement ( Done, replaced with BZT steel bumper)
2) Not really a vehicle upgrade, but have built a hoist for removal and storage of hardtop canopy.
3) Installed my VHF radio which I removed from my previous vehicle. Had to make an antenna braket to mount the antenna on the spare wheel carrier
4) Built a shelf which covers the very small "trunk"
5) In the process of building overlanding drawers and fridge slider.
Still to do
6) Install 2.5" Mopar lift kit
7) A-line Outrage CHGML wheels 17 x 9 with 4.5" back spacing
8) Radar Renegade R7 MT tires 35/12.5/17
9) Fender flares
10) 12,000lb Runva winch
11) Rear bumper (depending on what I can get over here)
12) Upgrade stock headlights
13) 10th Anniversary hood
