17”x9.5” (non-beadlock) wheels too wide?

The wheels I am considering (black rhino armory) only come in 17” x 9.5” -18 offset and 4.5” backspacing. These are not beadlock wheels and I will either be pairing these with 35x12.5 or 37x12.5 tires. I was originally targeting an 8.5” wide wheel. Should I be worried about the 9.5” wide with just a 12.5” tire? It’s a daily driver but I do wheel and air down.

I ran 35-12.50's on 15x10's for years and it worked great. I never had beadlocks and ran as low as 8 psi without ever loosing a bead.

I have 10's on my TJ (inherited them) but I've been airing down to 12 psi for years with no problems. Never felt the need to go lower for the wheeling that I do.

I've always heard that wider wheels are better for airing down more. Could be wrong, but i never had an issue running 10" wide wheels on a 14.5 wide tire and airing down to 10-12psi.
