Rooftop Tent w/o a Roof Rack

Hiya,
Is it possible to do a rooftop tent off the rollbars? I don't want to purchase a roof rack because I will never use it, but I want to check out a rooftop tent.

Most things are possible if you can fabricate, or have money to pay someone that can.

The hardware is adjustable. You would just need longer bolts and a wider plate that the bolts go thru. Should be easy.

I am not sure which Fred Williams has on his diesel JK, but he had one mounted to his cage so I would think you could do the same. He used it for a roof basically.
