Ball joint boot

I noticed that there is a big crack in the boot of one of my prosteers. Is this ok as long as I keep it lubed up or do I need to replace it? Thanks.

I would keep it lubed and only replace the joint if it has play. That's just me.

If the boot is available separately, you could replace the boot, but you still have to pull the axle and knuckle to get to it.

This ^^^^ There's no real need to replace it. Just keep it greased and it'll be fine.
