Engine trouble!!!!

If it’s not one thing it another. So while driving my engine sporadically drops the rpms to 0. Then about a second later picks back up. Nothing shows up on the dash, no warning lights, no codes are thrown or anything. Just a loss of power with the rpms zeroing out then picking back up. I was wondering if anyone else had heard of this issue. It’s hard to film because sometimes it doesn’t happen and when it does it’s random while driving, never at idle.

Terminals are clean and tight. So I left a monitor in while driving and the MAF drops to zero when it drops. The engine doesn’t die I just lose power and rpms go to 0.

If your battery terminal are the slip on type like my 2015 JK.
They don't like to tighten.

I was able to pull the terminal plug straight off.
I used a zip tie to squeeze the gap smaller and gently tapped it back on.

No more problems

Well after replacing the battery terminals and no improvement I figured it might be a sensor and after much research located the problem. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it seemed to have fixed to issues. Luckily I was able to do it myself and since it only cost 11 bucks for the sensor I’m sure I saved a bit as compared to the dealership
