3.8L Exhausts

What exhausts are you guys running on your 3.8s? Right now I have a flow master 40, but I am probably going to make a quick disconnect for ground clearance pretty soon. I’m curious as to what mufflers and/or cat backs sound the best on the 3.8s, so let me know what you guys have.

Screenshot_20180916-161709_Chrome.jpg This is what ive been running on my 07. I like that its tucked up high inside the chassis by the frame rail and out of the way. It is a lil loud on the hwy but I dont mind it. no it doesnt sound like a Honda with a coffee can lol but it is def noticeable. Im sure there is other systems out there that guys are running that may be a lil better but figured I'd share mine.

I run the Dynomax Rock Crawler. I think that's what it's called anyway. 😎

I didn't get it for sound, I got it because it tucks the muffler up in between the evap canister and frame getting rid of the stupid trash can hanging under the Jeep.

It's obnoxious at higher RPMs, but not ricer obnoxious.

I run a 30" glass pack with a turn down. Cheap and easy. Little beefier sound but no drone and not totally annoying to everyone else.

I like that. I just cut a slot out of my exhaust under the back door, left some of the pipe on top and it still sends some through my muffler, sounds much better than just the muffler and much better than no muffler, not super ricey. just sucks that i have to have the muffler in the back, even though mine is much smaller than stock

The '07-11 JKs don't have one from the factory. However, the Dynomax (and probably this one as well) only have a resonator. The "muffler" it comes with is basically a Glasspac and, honestly, doesn't really quiet it down much... I ran it with just a straight pipe before installing the kit and it didn't sound much different. 🤣

ah ok. muffler delete sounds good until you hit the high rpms. it’s a shame though because the clearance was there when i had it off.
