Transmission skid plate?

The crossmember on the picture ahead of the tranny crossmember is bent upward from last weekend's play in rocks. It looks a tad flimsy. I've looked and I see a lot of pics of Jeeps without it, should I try to bend it back down? Remove it? Replace it?

I would just leave it. Ours was bent too but it didn't hurt anything. We don't have it anymore because we went with the Rock Hard 4x4 skid.

I agree, that bend is nothing to worry about. I added the RE skid plates years ago before I realized there were a lot better options out there. But I added them more from sharp stick and log protection running trails here in Michigan. I’ve seen more rigs disabled having a random log kick up into the Trans, TC or drive line than dragging over rocks. All depends on your region for trails. But it’s an added layer of comfort for me.
