Figuring out which tpms sensor is bad

I had the tpms warning sensor turn on and after a few days, the passenger rear tire stopped sending info to the tpms system, I rotated the tire and the none functioning tms eventually moved but now the tpms is reading the non functioning tpms as moving various positions. Is there anyway to know which TPMS sensor is the one actually malfunctioning?

Most good mechanic shops have a meter that will read them and may even check them for free.

I have one next to my house, and that's where I plan to buy my new set. I will most likely replace the sensor then, tax season can't come soon enough.
