Inexpensive LEDs and HIDs

If you've recently seen my build thread, you've also seen that I acquired a few more LED lights. There is a local shop in a nearby town that is selling them at very affordable prices. I thought I would share the info here in case others would like to go the same route. There is no webpage or anything so you'll need to give the guy a call (info below) to order.

I have to say I was skeptical at first given the price, but I called and spoke with the guy and he offered to drive to meet me on a Saturday so I could have them this weekend. I am impressed with the finish and quality. Obviously I will have to see how they hold up, but I have no reason to suspect that they will not.

FYI--I am in no way affiliated with these guys, received no discount or any other perquisites. I am simply posting the information so others can take advantage of what I think is a great deal.

Cool find Mike. Do they also with wiring and switch. You mentioned you used existing from your LOD, but what set up comes with the lights.

No switch and just a short section of wire for the ground and power. They don't come in a fancy color box with stickers either. :cheesy:

I threw my LOD switch in the trash and went with these guys: www.OTRATTW.com

Dude, another great find. They have some cool switches!

I used to live in North County San Diego and lived really close to a place called DDM tuning, I put their HID kit into my F150 and they work great! The location in Vista was extremely helpful and I have been a loyal customer ever since... So anyone in the SoCal area looking for a great alternative for off-road lights should check them out. I moved to AZ and had a bulb/ballast blow and needed a replacement quick so I could drive again at night and it was shipped and credited within 2 days with lifetime warranty because if was a defect with the bulb itself:rock:. OTRATTW has awesome switches. If you follow them on Facebook they have new stuff they post there first.

I got some covers from them a couple months ago.

They are allegedly coming in this week, but I've heard that for the last couple of weeks. We shall see. I'll send you a text if/when I hear from him.

What pod is that? Very clean looking.

It's a spod with a hole in the middle for an aeroforce gauge. It's a super clean easy install

I just need the gauge pod and not a huge fan of the A-pillar mounts, I'm to cheap to buy a sPod.

Ummm.... Yeah that's true!

Does this guy make 50" bars? Or are you getting a 40"

He doesn't make them, just sources them and doesn't mark up the price as much as others. Yes he can get a 50". I was going to get a 20" but I might just get a 50" and call it good.

Though I do like the panel that is flat and sticks anywhere. I can't remember the name of it though. :thinking:
