Hello fello jeepers, I am writing from Italy and obviously new to Wayalife and forums in general so bare with me if I screw up every so often...
I’m a retired Master Sergeant of 22 years (USAF) and the manager of the auto skills shop on base (Aviano) so I know my way around a vehicle. My job in the Air Force was vehicle maintenance and am also the lead mechanic in our shop.
I’ve owned a couple of Jeeps over the years. My first was an ‘08 JK with 2.5” Teraflex budget boost and their nitro shocks. I had 33x11.50 17 Dick Cepek FC2 on some Ultra Nomad wheels. Apart from the lethargic 3.8 (my opinion) it was a great jeep. The 6spd and CAI definitely helped though! I bought a 16 Cherokee Trailhawk new thinking it would cure the itch after getting rid of my jk but no...so I sold it and ordered a new 19 JLU in September and am looking forward to it getting over the pond here in February. I’m also the proud owner of an 85 Dodge D150 short bed with a bored and stroked 318 up to 390. I do all my own work except paint and body (I don’t have the patience). Once I figure out how to insert pics here I’ll post em up!
Again, thanks for accepting me to the group and I look forward to meeting you all and seeing your rides.
