I have a 2012 JKU with the Automatic Transmission. My jeep wants to lung/load up or kill the engine when putting it in reverse. This is only on the initial start up and in cold temps. I have found if I put it in drive then into reverse it seems to work fine. The Transmission fluids were last changed at 65K and it is due for another fluid change at 115K.
I have read it may be the Torque Converter Solenoid.
I took my jeep a local shop and they said the transmission needs to be rebuilt, and will be seeking a second opinion shortly.
Looking for any input or past experiences you would share with me.
