Caught the Bug
So trying to take off my skid and can't seem to fit a socket on the bolt. Can't fit a wrench on the nut on top either. Any suggestions? 20190512_125853.jpg

Die grinder? Take the material that's been pushed and scraped into the recess area. Could probably do it with a flat file but a die grinder or cut off wheel would be quicker.

I have a dremel with a cut off wheel. Maybe I can try that to open it up. Thanks

I sacrificed a socket and ground down the OD to make it a thin wall. I still had to use a small screwdriver to pick out the smeared edge on a couple of them to get the thin wall socket on.

I used a Milwaukee oscillating tool to plunge cut mine. They were way worse than that. I also had to do the bolt head, as the washers wore down until they rubbed too.

A hammer and chisel will do in a pinch on the trail.

I have a love/hate relationship with those washers.
