3 ton jack stands enough for a JK?

Saw a special at Harbor Freight for the 3 ton Jack stands but I'm wondering if they'll be enough for our war pigs?

More than enough. Two jack stands per axle would be 6k. So I think your good.

No. Get at least the 6 tons, they’re always on sale too. Not the weight that’s the issue it’s the foot print and height. If you wanna hang the suspension by the frame you’ll want the 12 tons.

^^^This^^^ I actually have 4-12 tons and 2-3 tons Makes it nice to be able to pull all 4 tires and hang the suspension then support the axle with the smaller ones.

X3 on the 12 ton stands, heavier to haul around when scooting them under the Jeep but totally worth it for me.

I’m not. Fun of the 12 ton. They are too rounded on the stand. I have a couple sets of 6 ton and a couple sets of 3 ton that work just fine.

Tempting. Just more to store in my garage. But I do need taller stands, I had to borrow a set last time I changed my front springs.

I really like my 12 tons. The height is worth it for me. Can't remember where I got them.

19 inches tall at lowest setting and 29 inches tall at highest setting.
