I'll be making an attempt to swap transfer cases next weekend. Mine blew up a couple weeks ago. I havent' taken the old one off yet (or whats left of it--it exploded) and was waiting until i had use of a garage for a solid couple of days. I'm wondering if anyone who's done this can tell me what else needs to be ordered before I start. I do have a manual on hand and someone that's helping that has done a lot of auto work. I'm guessing there will be some kind of gasket between the case and the tranny? and seals for driveshafts? This is a 2003 wrangler with the 2.4L, 2550 trans and 231 nv TC.
