Evo rock sliders flexed into cab!!!

Hey. Went wheeling Friday night.

Slid of a rock and landed on the slider. Thank god they were there. Slider flexed into cab of jeep. I have 4 witness's. pics are hard to make out. The wields did not break and the slider flexed back to original spot.

I am so glad I had these on that night. I believe any other slider would have caused me major damage.

I was looking at different slider options this morning... I was considering making my own but I am now sold on the evo's!

My buddy already has the sticker on his LJ.

Wow, my 2 door has taken plenty of bone jarring hits without any flex - maybe because its shorter than an unlimited slider. That must have been a super hit!

They will flex a little, that's why you need a little more than a fingers gap when they are welded on

They are more than a fingers gap. I purposely wielded them lower than normal for clearance to the bolts on the rock skins.

Was about a 3' fall to that side with a 6+ lb jku. I was just surprised that they did not stay bent into the cab.
