Anyone hear of using rainx on hinges?

To prevent rust? They did it to my dads truck and I was wondering if anyone here has ever heard of it or done it themselves. Also wondering if it's safe on the paint job.

rainX like the windshield washer?

safe for paint, it should as when you spray, it spills everywhere. Prevent rust? don't know. I use Sinto Max EP lubricant.

dont know if it works for rust, but I assume its paint safe. Its in windshield washer fluid and that get sprayed all over your paint without problem. :thinking:

Didnt think of it being in Washer fluid... good point. I think im gonna try it. What could it hurt?
