D rings on a stock bumper!

I have a stock bumper and was trying to find a way to put a pair, front and rear, on.
Has anybody done this?
I don't really have the funds for a bumper just yet, saving for a winch first.
My question is can it be put thruvtge bumper where the bumper stops are? I have the tow hooks, but have heard they aren't that strong.
Also, want it to look decent and not so cut up...
Any thoughts or ideas?

I know teraflex makes front bolt ons and Evo makes rear bolt ons but neither will work with the stock bumper in place. They aren't cheap either. I would save your cash for new armor. The stock tow hooks are fine.

The front tow points are plenty strong. They mount to the frame. For the rear you are better off going with the EVO D ring mounts or getting a hitch with a shackle. I have both.
