Redington Road (SE Arizona)

My home is a few hours of highway travel from this trail. I am at work right now and do not have my trail guide book with me.

Does anyone have any input to this trail... not really interested in driving 2 hrs by highway for a BLM maintained road with nothing significant to see (Ghost towns? etc).

Discussion came up at work for a potential run either Sat or Sun (4/13 or 4/14). Kinda wanted to know a little more before I committed to it.

Caught the Bug
Redington is just a gravel road. You can access some great trails from it like Chiva Falls. The Tucson guys can weigh in with better info.

I've on any of the trails up there once, most people head up that way just to go shooting and what not. However, I do know there are a lot of trails up there that vary in difficulty. I know there are some tucson off road forums that could probably tell you more about it.

Well for a gravel road I don't think I will drive from out from Safford to explore it. I think we will look more today and wheel tomorrow.
