Magnaflow or dynomax???

I'm looking to get a new muffler for my xj. I'm lookin at a magnaflow 5 inch round muffler, or a dynomax of the same type. I'm not doing a tail pipe just cause of offroad reasons just a turndown tip. I'm torn between the two they're about the same price. Just not sure what to get.

don't have any experience with XJ exhausts but, we've been real happy with our dynomax system on our JK's.

Yea I've see them. Do they help with the performance aspect? I'm looking for something that sounds good but mostly will give better performance.
