Clutch going out?

My 2008 has 85,550 miles on it, but I bought it used so I am only assuming that it is the original clutch. When I push the clutch in, I hear a clicking noise. The clutch is stiff, quite a bit more so than the new Jeeps that my wife and I took for a test drive (thinking about getting the wife a JKU as well). Is this clicking an indicator that the clutch is going out, or is it simply a minor issue that can be fixed with a little grease and time?

Its probably the throw out bearing. They normally come with a new clutch kit.
