Will the Dana 44's off a 2004 TJ Rubicon mount directly to a 2011 JKU or will it require mods?

I don't believe they'll fit. JK axle assemblies are a fair amount wider that the TJ axles I believe.

JK's already have a Dana 44 rear, so if your looking to run Dana 44's just get a front and save some $

What he said. The Jk's have wider axles and the mounts are all different.
