13.50 on 8 inch rim?

Is 13.50 too wide to run on an 8 inch wide wheel?

I'm looking at getting the Toyo Open Country M/T in 35/13.50r15.

My wheels are 15x8 with -19 offset.. which should be 3.75 backspacing..

It's pretty wide but you can do it. Not too different than running a 12.50 wide tire on a 7" wheel. Your biggest problem will be to find a shop that will install it.

awesome thanks! I'm thinking I would also need to drop the tire pressure down to around 22 on road. Is this thinking correct?

Hard to say for sure. Definitely in the 20's but you may not need to go that low to get a square footprint.
