What lift to choose?????

 MY GIRLFRIEND BOUGHT ME A 2012 JK 2 DOOR, AND I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT LIFT KIT TO PUT ON. I WORK AT A PARTS STORE, SO I HAVE EASY ACCESS TO THE PARTS. BUT IM NOT 100% ON WHAT TO DO.

I KNOW I WANT TO RUN 35'S. AND I KNOW I WANT TO GO AT LEAST 4" HIGHER. I PLAN ON GOING THROUGH THE MUD, LOTS OF TRAILS, AND I WANT TO TRY OUT SOME BIG ROCKS. BUT IT IS ALSO MY DAILY DRIVER. AND I DO NOT MAKE ALOT OF MONEY SO IM ON A BUDGET.

SO MY QUESTION TO YOU, ALL OF MY JEEP BROTHERS AND SISTERS, WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST I BUY?????

HELP A GUY WITH NO HANDS,

NUBS MCGEE

P.S. ALL INFO IS WELCOME, AND THANK YOU

On a serious note. A teraflex 2.5 budget boost with shock extenders will give you some nice lift for about 350 bucks. While maintaining stock ride quality. And is also easy to install in your driveway with basic tools.

thanks, i will take that into consideration. caps lock off....

I'm running 35's and the rock krawler 3.5" flex system. Perfect ride and at a good price in my opinion. With a 2 door jk, maybe the 2.5" Max travel will suit you nicely, it'll give you more like 3-3.5" of lift. Here's mine

IMO 4" is a lot of lift for a 2 door unless your gonna start stretching it. For 35's Id look at 2 1/2 to 3 inch lifts.
Good Luck

To be completely honest, 4" is alot of lift for just 35's would recommend just going 37's if you want that much lift.... I would highly recommend 3" lift or 2.5 and for 2.5 I would go RK max travel kit for 35's

I agree, I have a 2 door and the RK 2.5 was enough lift.

I have a Skyjacker 2-1/2" lift on a JKU and like it alot. I've also installed a Rugged Ridge 2-1/2"-3-1/2" lift on a 2 door rubicon and was equally impressed with the quality. Any higher on a 2 door and drive shafts become an issue. make sure and get the "nitro" shocks. Also use 1-1/2" wheel spacers with stock wheels. The RR lift was $470 ish on Amazon with nitrogen shocks and new rear sway bar links.

Nubs, I gave my girl a ring in July and she got me a Rubi for my birthday end of August the next year. Then we got married on the beach in Miami in December. I'm putting a Jspec lift on it next weekend. I went with 2" so I didn't have to spend a boatload of $ on steering components and adjustable track bars all at once. 35s should fit just fine. Hope this helps
