So heading to Moab in and hour!! I was wandering since I do not have my disconnects yet can I disconnect my stock ones?? Newbie question.

Sure you can. Just need to unbolt them from the axle and then rotate them up and out of the way the best you can. If you have a body lift, you can put the link ends on top of the coil towers. If not, just use a bungie cord or some zip ties to secure them to the frame rails.
