So is 8000 pounds enough capacity for a JKUR under the most usual condition?

U could get away with it if you use a snatch block but 9,500 to 10,000 is ideal for a JKU.

I run a 10k on my 2door in case I need to help out other rigs. There may be rigs other than jeeps out there that need a hand too

If u only care about pulling out yourself an 8k is fine for a 2door rig

I run an 8k and its never let me down. I have it mounted on my JKU. As mentioned above that when using snatch blocks it increases its capacity.
