Water pump squeak at idle and low speed

I just got my 2013 JK back from the dealer service department. I was having a problem when I was idling there was an intermitent squeak in the lower front part of my engine. Thanks to a couple threads on this topic I knew it was the water pump. This really sucked when I was Jeeping around the mountains at 5mph listening to it. Sure enough I take it in to get it's second oil change and complain that I think it's the waterpump. At this point the squeak had become a low pitched grinding noise. They replaced it under warranty. The bearings were going out.

Glad to hear you got it fixed without any trouble. We have this same problem on our 2012 JK and need to get it replaced as well.

My 2013 jk has 1300 miles and once every few times it makes a low squeling sound from the front of the motor but it wont do it once i bring it to the dealership
