need to know were to hook up my cb under dash of my 08 rubicon hooked direct to battery but when I honk the horn it make s a loud buzz in cb please let me know t u jyazz06
You can tap into the power outlet that is always in. Not the lighter.
Make sure you have a good ground. I'm going to run mine to my sPOD this time and see how it works.
I pulled the centere part of my dash down and connected the wires to the the power socket. there are only two on them. If you have a test light you can use it to find a hot wire.
I soldered into the radio power and ground. Works perfect for constant power and has zero engine noise. Also ran a ground strap from the bracket on the tailgate to a bolt near the passenger rear door just under the carpet.
