Rugged Ridge Snorkel and Lower Radiator Hose

Anyone know or experience their RR 90 degree elbow part of snorkel sitting on lower radiator hose? Is this by design or need adjustment. If adjustment is this an ASAP adjustment or when able? Thanks

For having it for about 3 months now everything is still fine. The 90 elbow is touching the rad hose slightly. I have a 2011 as well.

Well not the bests photos but that's all I have right now...

and if it helps, I didn't cut anything of the elbow.

So word from RR is that as long as the rubbing is rubber on rubber it's fine. If you're talking rubber on metal then you'll have issues. Hope this helps anyone who may be in similar situation.

Aluminum tube and exhaust manifold hear shield (not touching=good)


90 degree elbow and power steering pump hardline hose (rubber on rubber okay. Rubber on metal=no good)
