CB antenna mount question

Am I able to run an antenna quick disconnect with a 3inch spring on the bottom of a Firestik antenna? I will have problems parking in my garage if I don't have a disconnect. I also like the idea of adding the spring for some added flex.

Yes you will have no problems. Just remember every time you put your antenna back on to use a SWR meter to to make sure it is still calibrated.

I have the exact set up and it works great. Just be aware of how the coax runs through the tailgate. Frequent opening and closing of mine pinched and broke it.
