Royal's JKU Build

Hello everybody, I wanted to start a thread like many others in order to document the build up of my yet to be named Black 2013 JKU Rubicon. I have already done some work to it so the first few posts will be catching up to current. My girlfriend and I decided on the Rubicon after we rented a Jeep from Barlow Jeep Rentals in Sedona Az for fathers day. I have always wanted an off-road capable vehicle, but my real passion has always been in high performance tuners. Needles to say after that fathers day we were hooked. We thought the Jeep and Off-road lifestyle offered a new and exciting way for our family to come together. A gift that just keeps going. A week later a brand spanking new JKU was delivered to our door step. Thats when it started. I am not sure what it is in me, but I just cant keep a vehicle stock. The mods started immediately. The mods that I have done to the jeep since we got it are as follows:

3.5 AEV Lift with Bilstein 5160's
17" AEV Pintler Wheels Black
35" Goodyear Kevlar Wranglers
EVO Protek Skid-plates
Marathon Front Bumper
Warn Zeon 8
OR-Fab Rear Tire Carrier w/ Rotopax

Soon to come (hopefully):
Hi-Lift 48" Extreme
DynoMax Evolution Exhaust
Rear Bumber (not sure of brand)
Sliders (not sure of brand)
CB Radio
Trail Cage
Dif Covers (not sure of brand)
Dif Sliders
Rock Lights (Platinum Burners)
50" Rigid Industires LED light bar

That's just the beginning.

Our purchase was a good one. We are hooked! Hope you enjoy the build.

Here is my other toy (the tuner side of me):

The rest of the installs will have more detailed pics. Thanks Wayalife for existing!

Lookin' good! Would love to hear your thoughts & some more pix of the Protek skids. That's a product I'm looking at for my '13 JKUR too.

Love the plates they seem solid. I will have to get under the jeep for some pics. Haven't needed them YET. Very easy install. Took less than an hour for all 3 of them. They seem thick enough to do the job.

Looks great. I grew up in Sedona so I'm up there often visiting family. Next time I'm up there I'll hit you up to do some trails
