Bed liner on hardtop

I occasionally find scratches on my hard top and I am tiring of touch up paint.
Should I just put bed liner on the outside?
What's the best way to go about this? What brand to use?

Bed Liner

You could take it to a professional place and have them do it. or By a can at your favorite auto parts house and follow the instructions on the can...

I used Herculiner on the lower half of my F-250 all the way around. It held up great for the 2 years I had it before I sold it. The color faded to a flat black because I didn't use a UV sealer, but it did not degrade the coating.

Be warned bed liner will collect dirt that is hard to clean. Well harder than a normal sponge washing. Normal hose would not get it clean. My small 110V pressure washer did the trick so if you have one then expect to use it.

If you want I can upload a few pic's of it.

In my opinion, Rustoleum's kit is junk!
