Thin bumper? Recessed winch?

Was looking for a way to get the winch recessed in the frame rails and have a bumper tucked up as close to the grill as possible.

Any write ups y'all know of?

Don't know who makes it but I remember one being made by a manufacturer. Don't know if they fabricated something up or there is a plate available?

I was kinda hoping someone had recessed a regular aftermarket bumper by just cutting the frame rails and mounting a plate of some kind for the winch.

Something similar but with a bumper not "made" for being recessed.

Can you remove those d rings without using a wrench?

If you loosened them and kept the nuts loose sure

The mounts have to stay on since that's how the bumper attaches to the frame but u can loosen just the d ring

Don't quit understand your question? Why would you want to take them out by hand. They attach the the frame.

Edit: you mean literally just the d rings. Yes you can if you don't over tighten.

Yeah i meant the rings themselves. I wonder why rr doesnt use the etandard d ring like everyone else. Thats one of the reasons i won't buy their rear bumper/carrier
