What was done to your rig this week?

Can’t finish since I don’t have a 46mm socket for the pitman arm. Ordered one. If all goes well with the bleed, should be on the road next weekend after I get the pitman arm torqued down. Really driveway mechanics.

Yeah, I was caught of guard on that the first time too. Amazon saved the day.

Looks good Dave!

Can't wait to see you on the trail now.

Did you have to loose the roof rack to fit inside?

It's looking great, Dave!

Thanks!

Time for a trail test.

Hopefully Sunday.* Initial road tests feel good.* I have to make another small correction to center the steering wheel, but my 47-53 mph shimmy is gone and there's no driveline vibes at least up to 60 mph or so.* I haven't taken it on the freeway yet.

Thanks.* I took the rack off so I could raise it up on jackstands to do the lift install.* It's going to be close but I think I can make it work with the rack on - something to look at this afternoon.* I will have to take the rotopax off though.* Eventually I'd like to move the rotopax to the spare tire carrier.

I have been teaching the wife how to work on the Jeep and she changed the diff oil yesterday. She was excited to get her hands dirty. View attachment 324587

She’s definitely a keeper! Mine wouldn’t be caught dead with a wrench in her hands, but she’s pretty hot so I keep her around. Wish she would help me work on the Jeep, though.
